Privacy on this website
This website carries no health information. Booking, insurance checks, intake and consent all happen on a separate application, on a separate domain, on separate infrastructure covered by signed business associate agreements. There is no session replay, no advertising pixel and no tag manager anywhere in that flow — not configured off, architecturally absent.
Two separate systems
They are two different websites with two different risk profiles, and treating them as one is the mistake that causes healthcare privacy incidents.
This site
Public information: procedures, the surgeon, directions, and answers to questions. It never receives health information and has no way to store any.
Consent-gated analytics may run here to tell us which pages are useful. It is blocked until you agree, and it never records what you type or replays your session.
The patient application
A different domain, a different database, and a signed business associate agreement with every vendor in the chain.
No analytics of any kind. No third-party script of any kind. No health information ever appears in a web address, so it cannot end up in a log.
What we do not use
Named individually because a general commitment to privacy is not checkable and these are.
- No session-replay tool of any kind, anywhere. These record keystrokes and form interaction, which is the contents of a communication under Florida law.
- No advertising pixel on any page that touches booking, coverage or intake.
- No tag manager, which would allow a script to be added later without a review.
- No chat widget from a third party. The assistant runs on our own infrastructure.
- No font, script or stylesheet loaded from another company’s servers. Everything is served from this domain.
- The name of a procedure never leaves this site. Which page you read is not sent to any advertising platform.
Your rights as a patient
Your rights over your health information — to see it, to get a copy, to ask for a correction, to know who it has been shared with, and to ask for restrictions — are set out in the practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive at your first appointment and can ask for at any time.
