For referring dentists
Send a referral by phone, by secure email or by fax and we will contact your patient the same business day. You will get a written report after the consultation and again after treatment, including radiographs and the pathology result where there is one. Urgent cases — swelling, trauma, an acute pericoronitis — call the practice directly and ask for the surgeon.
What to send
Enough to triage properly. If you only have the patient's name and number, send that — we will get the rest.
- Patient name, date of birth and a mobile number
- The reason for referral in one line
- A recent panoramic or periapical radiograph where you have one
- Relevant medical history, particularly anticoagulants and bisphosphonates
- Whether you want the patient back for the restorative phase
Send it securely
Patient information must travel over a secure channel. Call the practice for the current secure email address and fax number rather than sending clinical detail to a general enquiry address.
(305) 432-6719What comes back, and when
Stated as a commitment rather than an intention, because a referral you never hear about again is one you stop making.
Same business day
We contact your patient and book them. If we cannot reach them, you hear that too.
After the consultation
A written report with the findings, the plan, and what was discussed about alternatives.
After treatment
An operative note, radiographs, the pathology result where applicable, and what the patient needs from you next.
What we take
Your patient comes back to you for everything else. We do not provide restorative, orthodontic or general dentistry, which is deliberate.
